its cheertastic!

this weekend our cheerleaders are going to their competition. usually the cheerleaders end up in my room after school during basketball season painting posters or making locker signs for the basketball players. well there is no one to make locker signs or paint posters for the girls, so i decided i was going to do something for them. i originally planned on making locker signs and stuff...but that is toooo labor intensive... so i cut that idea tonight. but i did find this idea online about making cheerleaders out of blow pops. so i made them!

i am not 100% thrilled with them (i think i would like a different color pipe cleaner maybe...)but i think they are cute and the girls (and the one boy who may or may not be cheering because he severely sprained/broke his foot) will like them. i think i am going to add a little tag or card wishing the girls luck at their competition.

in other news... my closet is a bit drier. i put the space heater in there for a few hours tonight and it took out some of the smell, but i think it keeps coming up through the carpet from the cement. i am going to dry it again tomorrow. they damp rid hasn't picked up ANY moisture yet... but i can feel it if i push my fingers down into the carpet. :/

and on a side note, i have obviously not died from rabies. my throat is feeling WAY better and i think it was a false alarm on the rabies/tetanus diagnosis.
