mario and ben...you're going down!

super mario online is SOOOO frustrating! grr.... i can't even make it past level 2. it isn't my fault that i am such a bad video game/mario player... we were never allowed to have game systems when we were younger. my mom never wanted us to have one and i am happy she had that rule. i think it really encouraged us to play and read and helped develop our imaginations. lsf pretty much thinks video games suck your brains out...which i agree with and i tell my students almost daily. but occasionally i will play mario online but then i get so frustrated because i keep dying so i give up pretty quickly. i just played and died a lot. and didnt even make it 1/2 in level 2. :/

i am SO happy it is the weekend and the weather is gor-geous! i think weather like this just naturally puts you in a happier mood! i am looking forward to 1) sleeping and 2) resuming my outdoor exercise regime. i am not looking forward to the time change. (i raise my fist to you benjamin franklin!) i hate springing forward and losing my beloved hour. i shall miss you, sweet hour of sleep...until november :'(

(p.s. i know it all evens out...ben franklin still gets the stink eye)

in other news, the pipe cleaner cheerleaders were a hit! the girls loved them! <3
