random ramblings on a (not so much anymore) rainy night...

school is closed again here tomorrow.  i didn't get any notification from the school, i just happened to see it while obsessively watching the news for the school closings (it comes from 12 years of watching/waiting school closings because of snow).  but i am so ocd about it, i keep checking the website even though i KNOW it says it is closed...just to make sure...  i am not nuts, right?!  so i am not going to set my alarm.  i am SO not tired though... sigh.  maybe "roseanne" is on.  i really think this whole school closing thing is god's way of getting me to grade the stack of papers i have been neglecting all weekend and today.  i am stuck in the house, my tv doesn't work (thank you lightning) and what have i done all day?  nothing substantial other than showering and walking to the mailbox once just to get out of the house.  my goals for tomorrow:  1.) grade (some) papers  2.) clean/organize bathroom 3.) fold laundry in basket  4.) vacuum my bedroom.  5.) do not get water poisoning from the water.  we have a boil order and i am not so sure drinking filtered water from the fridge counts as boiling water for a minute. i am feeling a bit gross...but i think it is purely in my head.
